David P. Bica, DO, CAQSM, is a Sports Medicine Physician with University Orthopedics Inc., and affiliated with Brown University.

Dr. Bica is a highly respected and experienced physician, having been in practice for many years. His career in medicine began when he graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Bica completed his residency with Vidant Medical Center/Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, where he was an assistant residency director.

David P. Bica, DO, FAAFP, CAQSM, attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 2008. Furthermore, he conducted his family medicine residency at Vidant Medical Center/Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. There, he served as Assistant Residency Director. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in sports medicine. Dr.  Bica received board certification in family medicine as well as a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Bica is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also the secretary of the Rhode Island Society of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and the president and education committee chairman of the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians.
